Since it takes a while for Mr. P to draw out these comics, I thought I’d take some time to share a few of our favorite recipes. I’m going to file this one under “romantic.”
Mr. P and I drank quite a few Kir Royales on our honeymoon flight to Europe. It’s a French cocktail we’ve known of before, but not often served in the U.S.
Similar to the American Mimosa, it’s a champagne cocktail, except it’s mixed with crème de cassis (black currant liquor). We’ve been thinking about the drink a lot after returning from our honeymoon, and finally were able to find some crème de cassis at BevMo!
So now we can enjoy this cocktail whenever we want. It’s so nice to be able to bring back this memory from our honeymoon.
