I was planning on making the focus of the recipes on this blog be more savory ones, like the meals that Mr. P and I eat. But clearly this hasn’t happened yet. I blame it on the current heat wave.
Carl’s Jr. recently debuted a new dessert menu item: Pop-Tart Ice Cream sandwiches. And my first reaction was, why don’t I make my own? So I did. They are easy to make and you can customize to your flavor preference.
I chose chocolate fudge pop-tarts and cookies n’ cream flavored ice cream. You can eat them straight away or wrap them in plastic wrap and store the in the freezer. I found them awfully sweet but it was nice, cool treat to beat the heat!
