Sleeping on Planes

Mr. P and I recently took a trip, once again reminding me how different we are when it comes to traveling. No matter how hard I try, I cannot sleep on planes. This is true even if it’s a red-eye flight or a 12 hour flight. I will get maybe a few minutes of dosing off and that’s about it. So I spend most of the plane ride watching every movie imaginable and eating snacks, which is one of the reasons why I’m obsessed with flying on planes that do provide personal tvs and unlimited snacks. Mr. P, on the other hand, can fall asleep just about anywhere at any time. He will usually fall asleep before we even take off. I’m quite envious at his ability.

  1. that’s why I have a stack of crossword puzzles & soduko in my big purse when we travel. I wish I could take my crochet kits on the plane, but crochet hooks or knitting needles are no longer allowed (unless they’re in your check-in luggage). try listening to classical music, sometimes it works.
