As many of you know, last weekend, Mr. P and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary. We attempted to follow most of the traditional American wedding traditions for our first anniversary. We did the traditional paper themed gift. And we saved the top tier from our wedding cake, which we kept in the freezer for a year, to eat on this special occasion. One the day of, we suddenly wondered exactly how the cake would taste, after sitting in the freezer for a year. After eyeing it suspiciously, we were pleasantly surprised! Once defrosted, it tasted pretty much the same as it did when we ate it on our wedding day. Of course, then we weren’t sure what to do with the rest? Devour the entire cake? Save it again for the following year? The latter is probably not a good idea…
